Are you a driven BDM with experience selling into the construction, infrastructure, industrial or commercial sectors?

I’m currently representing a fantastic opportunity with a well established equipment rental business based in Melbourne. They provide a wide range of plant, equipment and hire solutions to customers across major construction and industrial projects.

They are looking for a commercially focused Business Development Manager who can build strong client relationships, identify new opportunities and help continue growing their presence in the market.

The opportunity:
• Develop and grow relationships with existing and new customers
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across construction, infrastructure and industrial sectors
• Manage your own territory, pipeline and sales activity
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored equipment solutions
• Join a business with a strong reputation and established customer base

What they’re looking for:
• Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or account management
• Background within equipment hire, plant hire, access hire, construction services or a related industry preferred
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build long term customer partnerships
• Self motivated, driven and confident managing your own sales activity
• Someone who enjoys being out in the market and creating opportunities
