Caregiver - Memory Care (Full Time)
- Provide resident-directed care to people living with dementia in a specialist Memory Care Centre.
- Assist residents with meals, personal hygiene, walks, exercises and recreational activities.
- Work full time on a rotating 4-days-on, 2-days-off roster covering morning, afternoon and night shifts.

Job Description:
As a Caregiver at our Waikanae village you will work as part of our compassionate team in the Memory Care Centre, where we deliver high-quality, resident-directed care for people living with dementia. Our secure, specialist environment supports safety while promoting a fulfilling and enjoyable lifestyle, with each resident’s quality of life at the heart of everything we do. Our care is resident-directed, meaning we tailor care and support to each individual’s preferences, values, and needs
This is a full time position, working AM/PM shifts on a 4 on 2 off roster.
Typical duties include:
- Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
- Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
- Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
- Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

Qualifications:

You’ll bring with you:
- Experience in aged care or a similar role
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts
- Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off
