Physiotherapy Team Leader | 12-Month Contract | Up to $82.66/hr + Super

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Physiotherapy Team Leader for a 12-month parental leave contract within a regional hospital service, commencing January 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior physiotherapist ready to combine complex clinical practice with leadership, mentoring and service development, all while enjoying the benefits of a regional contract.

The Opportunity

Working across a regional health service, you will provide high-quality, complex physiotherapy services while taking a lead role in clinical governance, professional development and service improvement.

You’ll work closely with two other Senior Physiotherapists in a supportive, collaborative team, helping to strengthen clinical practice and deliver effective models of care across the service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing complex clinical physiotherapy assessment, intervention and consultancy services.

• Offering clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring to physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants.

• Supporting clinical education, workforce development and evidence-based practice.

• Contributing to quality improvement, clinical safety and service development initiatives.

• Collaborating with allied health colleagues, managers and key stakeholders to improve service delivery.

• Supporting the ongoing development of physiotherapy services across the region.

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to influence both clinical outcomes and the development of the wider allied health workforce.

Option 1: Casual contract through cmr

• Up to $82.66 per hour + super depending on experience

• Accommodation provided for the duration of the contract.

• One-way travel to the site at the commencement of the contract.

Option 2: Direct fixed-term employment

Prefer the security and benefits of direct employment? A 12-month fixed-term arrangement may also be available, subject to approval.

Benefits include:

• Up to $120,000 + Super depending on experience. Salary packaging options.
