Crane Operators

DRD Group is seeking experienced Crane Operators - C1 & C6 ticketed  with strong construction project experience to join our client for an immediate start.

You will be working on construction of a paste plant at a Gold mine undertaking critical lifting operations.

You'll need experience in;

Conducting lifting operations in either a <60t or <100t Crane for construction project works.

You'll need to be able to competently complete.

• Pre-Start Inspections: Conduct daily safety checks, monitor gauges, and test operational capabilities before starting a lift.
• Site Communication: Coordinate with ground crews, dogmen, and riggers via radios or hand signals to guide blind or complex lifts.
• Load Management: Calculate weights, verify load charts, and ensure items stay well within the crane's safe working limits.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic servicing, including lubricating cables and winches, cleaning parts, and logging maintenance records.

Requirements and Qualifications

• C6 or C1 Crane Operator ticket
• HRWL for the appropriate category
• White Card
