ENGINEERING STUDENTS | EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
RMIT Engineers: Ready to see where your degree could take you?
You're studying engineering. Now let's talk about what you could actually do with it.
Fyfe is inviting RMIT Engineering students to register their interest in future student and early-career opportunities.
Whether you're passionate about designing, building, improving, problem-solving or still figuring out exactly where you want your career to go, we'd love to meet you.
We want to hear from students across engineering
Your studies might be in:
- Civil Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Chemical / Process Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Renewable / Energy-related Engineering
- Or another engineering discipline
We're not expecting you to know everything
Seriously. You're a student.
We're much more interested in your curiosity, attitude and willingness to learn.
If you like asking why?, figuring out how things work and tackling problems that don't always have an obvious answer, you're already speaking our language.
Get on our radar
Registering your interest gives us a chance to learn more about you, what you're studying and where you'd like your career to take you.
As suitable opportunities arise, we can connect with students whose interests align with what we're looking for.
So if you're thinking about your first step into engineering, don't wait until graduation to start the conversation.
Hit Apply, tell us a little about yourself, and say hello to Fyfe.
What I changed and why
I've deliberately made these student-first, energetic and low-pressure, rather than sounding like standard vacancy ads. The IT version leans into curiosity and technology, while the engineering version has more personality around problem-solving and not needing to have your career figured out yet. Both clearly position the application as an EOI, not a guarantee of a current role, which is important for a university talent-pooling campaign.
We vet all employer accounts and do our best to keep job ads safe, but scams can still occur. Be cautious when sharing personal information — never provide financial details or make payments during the application process. For extra security, use the Apply button on our site when proceeding.
