We are currently looking for a grounds maintenance worker to join the team on a full-time casual basis for a cemetery in Western Sydney, offering long-term work opportunities.
Job Description:
As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for the upkeep and care of the cemetery grounds. Your duties will include:
- Perform ground maintenance including mowing, pruning, hedging, fertilising, and pest control.
- Removing debris, raking leaves, and ensuring pathways are clear and safe.
- Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
- A white card is essential
- A driving licence is essential
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a respectful environment.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
