Inventory Stores Manager Oji Fibre Solutions Hamilton, Waikato Full-time, Permanent Augment Resources NZ is privileged to have partnered with Oji Fibre Solutions to conduct multiple search assignments which will rebuild their Supply Chain and Procurement function. The Inventory and Stores Manager will lead and coach a team of Store Supervisors and Specialists. You will provide strategic direction on inventory management, logistics and supply development. This senior role reports directly to the Manager Procurement and Supply Chain and is responsible for ensuring end to end management of materials and related operations for the Kinleith, Tasman and Penrose mills. The role will be based at the Kinleith Mill, in the Waikato and require travel throughout the North Island. Key responsibilities * Establishing and maintaining sustainable and high-quality inventory and reporting practises * Managing all stores and inventory to ensure production schedules are at optimum efficiency, accurate process and reporting, stock takes, drive strategic operations and continuous improvement * Develop, manage, and implement the delivery of our stores and inventory strategy * You will also be experienced in the reduction of SLOB stock. * An experienced leader you will coach and develop a team of Store Supervisors & Specialists, (10 staff across two sites), empowering and encourage a positive and engaged work culture Skills required * Leadership experience within a large and fast-paced warehouse/stores, engineering/industrial, or manufacturing environment * Tertiary and/or other relevant post-graduate qualifications * A minimum of 5 years experience in Inventory, Warehousing or Logistics roles in an industrial, engineering and/or manufacturing environment * Willingness to travel regular visits to our other mills is required * Lean principles knowledge and application * A working knowledge of 5S principles * Proven ability in Project Management and achievement of tight deadlines and budgets * Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is also required In accordance with Company policy, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination, drug test, credit check and Ministry of Justice criminal history check.
